The squared, confident brow line takes its discipline from the stone facades of downtown Cairo: straight lines, built to outlast every trend that passes beneath them. The Sarri fluted temple bar finds its oldest echo just outside the city, in the ribbed limestone columns of Saqqara — among the first fluted columns ever carved. And the Dark Havana acetate is marked like the worn wood of a Khan el-Khalili workbench: warm, deep, never flat.
